AUD/JPY steady near 98.00

FXStreet (Córdoba) - AUD/JPY is moving in a small range, hovering around 98.00, posting modest daily gains and recovering after falling yesterday to 97.28.

A good year for AUD/JPY

During 2014 the pair has risen almost 500 pips. After a weak January it turned to the upside and held a bullish bias for the rest of the year.

Price peaked on November at 102.80 but then pulled back as the aussie dropped sharply across the board and rebounded at 95.20 (December low) toward 98.00.

The upside in AUD/JPY was favor by a weak yen and not because of stronger aussie. The Australian dollar was the among the worst commodity currencies.

EUR to be stronger against safe-havens – Growth Aces
