Eurozone Trade surplus rises to EUR 20.3 billion in February
FXStreet (Mumbai) - As per the data released by the Eurostat, the euro area recorded a EUR 20.3 billion surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in February 2015, compared with EUR 14.4 in February 2014. The Trade balance stood at EUR 7.9 billion in January.
In January to February 2015, euro area exports of goods to the rest of the world rose to EUR 308.5 billion, which is an increase of 2% compared with January-February 2014, while imports fell to EUR 280.6 billion, which is a decrease of 3% compared with January-February 2014. As a result Eurozone recorded a surplus of EUR 27.9 billion, compared with EUR 14.5 billion in January-February 2014.
