US: Consumer Price Index flat in November, up 1.2% YoY
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - US consumer prices stood unchanged in November, the US Labor Department reported Tuesday. The reading missed expectations of a 0.1% rise.
However, the Consumer Price Index grew 1.2%, in the 12 months to November, also below the 1.3% forecast and higher than October's 1.0% rise.
Core CPI, which strips food and energy costs, rose 1.7% over the last twelve months and 0.2% MoM, against 1.7% and 0.1% expected respectively.
