BOJ reduced its buying of JGBs in the 3-5 year range

Latest announcement from the Bank of Japan (BOJ) doesn’t come as a surprise, after the central bank noted that it reduced its buying of 3 - 5 year range of JGBs.

Key Details:

1 - 3 year buying, as before, 280bn yen

5 -10 year buying, as before, 450bn yen

3 - 5 year range, bought 350bn yen cf 380 bn yen before
