Treasury yields not likely to spike: Reuters poll

Treasury yields may have bottomed out, but that does not mean they are heading for the skies, even amid an abundant supply, a Reuters poll showed.

Key points

  • The 10-year treasury yield is seen at 2.59 percent in 3 months, 3.20 percent in 12 months (vs. 2.54, 2.87 in Dec poll).
  • The 2-year treasury yield is seen at 2.3 percent in 3 months, 2.80 percent in 12 months (vs. 1.90, 2.30 in Dec poll).
  • Over 80 percent of 31 strategists expect the yield curve to invert in two years.
