BoJ's Kuroda: Ongoing QE policy aimed at ending deflation soon
FXStreet (Łódź) - Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said at a press conference in Tokyo on Wednesday that the Japanese economic recovery progressed at a moderate pace and that the central bank's monetary easing was having the desired impact.
Kuroda signaled that the current bond buying program would be continued until deflation was eliminated. He pointed out that the QE policy was keeping long-term yields stable and that Japan's economy was steadily getting closer to the price goal.
The BoJ governor also added that the flow of capital in Japan had become dynamic.
